Why this project
In many villages in Bangladesh, families have no safe water source close to home. They walk long distances to collect water, and what they collect is not always safe to drink.
What we built
Your donations paid for a water point with a raised storage tank and a row of taps, so people can collect clean water close to where they live. Water points like this are built to serve the whole community for years.
What it means
Safe water close by means less time spent fetching water, less illness from unsafe water and more time for school and work.
