About these terms
This website is run by The Fatema Foundation CIO, a registered charity in England and Wales, number 1213106, at 42 High Street, Wanstead, London E11 2RJ. By using the website you accept these terms.
Donations
- Online card donations are processed securely by Stripe.
- Donations are used for our charitable purpose: the prevention or relief of poverty. Zakat is tracked separately and distributed appropriately.
- Under our 100% donation policy, our operational costs are covered separately and not taken from donations.
- Monthly donations continue until you cancel them. Contact us at any time to cancel.
Refunds
If you make a donation by mistake, contact us as soon as possible at [email protected] and we will look at each request individually. We may not be able to refund a donation once it has been sent to a programme or claimed for Gift Aid.
Gift Aid
By making a Gift Aid declaration you confirm you are a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year, it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
Website content
We work to keep the information on this website accurate, but it is provided for general guidance. The Zakat calculator is a general guide and not religious advice. Photos and videos on this site are owned by the Fatema Foundation or used under licence and may not be reused without permission.
